The Prisoner and Lewis
One of the prisoners in the era of Louis XIV was sentenced to death and was imprisoned in the castle wing, and there was only one night left until his execution!
And on that night, the prisoner was surprised by the door of the cell opening, and Louis entered him with his guards to say to him: I give you a chance, if you succeed in exploiting it, you can survive.!
There is an unguarded exit in your cell, if you can find it you can get out.....
And if you can't, the guards will come tomorrow at sunrise to take you to execution.
The guards left the cell with the Emperor after they untied his chains and attempts began
And he began to search the wing in which he was imprisoned, and hope came to him when he discovered the cover of an opening covered with a worn-out carpet on the ground, and as soon as he opened it, he found it leading to a staircase that descended to a lower basement, followed by another staircase that ascended again, and he kept going up until he began to feel the infiltration of the outside air breeze, which gave him hope until he finally found himself in the towering tower of the castle, and the earth he could hardly see.
He hit the wall with his foot, and if he felt the stone on which he puts his foot moving, so he jumped and began to test the stone, and he found that it was possible to move it, and as soon as he removed it, he found a narrow basement that could hardly accommodate crawling, so he started crawling until he began to hear the sound of gurgling water and he felt hope knowing that the castle overlooks a river, but in the end he found a window closed with iron, through which he could see the river..
And so he remained throughout the night, panting in attempts and signs of hope that appeared to him once from here and once from there, and all of them gave him hope at first, but in the end they failed.......
Finally, the whole night of the prisoner passed, and the sun shone through the window, and he found the Emperor's face looking at him from the door and saying to him: I see you are still here!!
The prisoner said: I expected you to be honest with me, Emperor!
The Emperor said to him: I was honest!
The prisoner asked him: I did not leave a spot in the cell
I did not try it, so where is the way out that you told me?
The Emperor said to him: The cell door was open and not closed!
A person always creates difficulties for himself and does not pay attention to what is simple in his life.
Our lives may be simple with simple thinking, and difficult when a person finds something difficult in his life
