Newcastle compensates for the departure of its star

Newcastle United club is close to strengthening its ranks with a new distinctive element during the upcoming summer transfer period, in preparation for participating in the Champions League.

Newcastle returned to the Champions League after an absence of nearly two decades, after finishing last season among the top 4 in the English Premier League.

According to Sky Sports, Newcastle is close to signing Leicester City player Harvey Barnes.

She added, "Newcastle agreed with Leicester to include the player for 38 million pounds sterling, to compensate for the possible departure of Alan Saint-Maximin to the Saudi League."

It is expected that Saint-Maximin will transfer to Al-Ahly Saudi Arabia for 40 million pounds sterling, which will revive the club’s treasury with funds that will help it avoid violating the rules of fair financial play.
