Beckham's reaction to Messi's first goal for Inter Miami is eye-catching

 

 Video clips showed former English star David Beckham celebrating with his family after Lionel Messi scored his first goal for the American club Inter Miami.

The Argentine star had scored a goal in the fatal time 90 + from a direct free kick, to lead his team to defeat Mexican club Cruz Azul, 1/2, in the League Cup match.

The goal of the 2022 World Cup winner sparked "crazy" joy in the audience, as Serena Williams, the American tennis player, was amazed at the aesthetics of the goal.

 And other clips showed that Beckham was affected by his team's victory in the last moments.

"As soon as I saw the free kick, I thought this is how you are supposed to win, especially when you have players like Leo and Sergio Busquets on the field," David Beckham, part-owner of the American club, told Apple TV broadcast after the match.

He continued by saying, "This is a special night for us, for our family, for everyone in this stadium, for you guys, it's a moment for this country, it's a moment for this league, and it's a very proud moment for us."
